For ice and snow travel, the lightweight Black Diamond Contact crampon is ideal for mountaineers, skiers and hikers. Its compact, 10-point design offers easy walking and surprising climbing performance. The fast-adjust attachment system accommodates almost any footwear, and quickly collapses the Contact into a compact package that’s easy to stash. The Contact Strap also comes with our patented, dual-density Anti-Balling System (ABS) plates, which prevent snow from balling underfoot.
