The idea is to provide a boot powerful enough to handle today's biggest skis, but also provide accessibility for any kind of terrain. The liner is heat moldable and comes with the BOA lace system for a secure fit, and a walk-mode releases for touring and comfort." One tele-tester said, 'It's a workout to initiate, but once you're in the turn, you're railing with strength and precision!' It's not for everyone though, another tester thought: 'The combined cuff and bellows flex were too stiff,' with 'too little resistance until late in the turn.' All agreed the liner was especially comfortable and form fitting for a stock piece. But most thought the BOA liner (picture a snowboard boot lace-up system, only now as part of your liner) ratchet was 'sort of a hassle' and created a separation from the shell. However, overall placement and quality of the buckles is top notch. More than one tester gave two thumbs up on the subtle placement of the leash ring.
