Inspired by Team Evolv design feedback and Trax Rubber Co. technology, the Evolv Evo is the new all-around performance shoe for 2006 that is very versatile. With a comfortable and anatomical fit, they can be used as an all-around long route shoe when sized comfortably, or if sized tightly they can serve as a performance shoe. They equipped the Evo with highly functional features like the perforated, pliable toe rand rubber that delivers a sticky toe hooking surface or crack climbing help, and technical heel hooking ridges. The molded Trax XF-3 outsole was engineered to have variable thickness gradients of the sole to conform to the foot and provide perfect anatomical support and stiffness and sensitivity where needed. The molded sole is thinner in the arch section for better arch fit and ridged and thicker in the heel section for mild cushioning and the semi-stiff half-length midsole underneath enhances edging power.
